Had some interesting people on our flight - a group of Irish people returning from a 2-week trip in the States where they were filmed for an Irish reality TV show. They were flown to NY, Chicago, New Orleans, Miami, and San Fran where they had to complete challenges, etc etc, drink, etc etc.  One of the guys ended up giving us pointers on our stay in Ireland.

     Upon landing at Dublin, we were greeted by Rain, who gave us a cold reception.

This one's for you Kimmy!

Covered a lot of ground on day one despite Jet Lag and bothersome presence Rain (we had no choice since we were locked out of our hostel).  We saw Jackie Chan filming by Dublin Castle.  It was very cool.  Built in 1204Almost all of the castle was burned down in the 17th century so all that is left is the tower and adjacent church.  Later additions were juxtapositioned.

Visited a few churches - Christ Church Cathedral with its underground vaults - as well as St. Patrick's (pictured).
