Budapest, Hungary
Budapest was nothing like I had imagined it to be. I thought it would be some dingy 3rd world country but boy was I wrong. The drive from the train station to the hostel reminded me of an older and dirtier New York City many, many years ago. But the parts by the river were nice. Especially over by the Citadel area.
It's true what everyone says about Budapest being cheap. It was definately dirt cheap. I was able to experience a Hungarian Bath and Massage for $5. It was...an interesting experience.
