Before Canada became an independent country in 1867, the now provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia had their own coins minted. Prince Edward Island had their own coins minted also before entering the Dominion of Canada in 1873 so did Newfoundland up until 1949. On this page you will find pictures of these coins listed by province down below.
Please note: Since there were very few of the Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island Coins, I lumped them together on the same page.
