| #1 Samus beats #16 Little Mac 15-8 (65%-35%) | ||||||

| The situation seemed hopeless. First off, Samus Aran was the 1st Super Duper 64 character tournament(or SD64CT) champion. Next, Little Mac is an old school character a lot of people might not remember. Finally, Samus was in SSBM. The forum that the tournament is held on is the SSBM forum at gametalk.com. People were saying that Mac couldn't do anything to stop Samus. He wouldn't get even 1 vote. But he did. He got 8 votes against Samus, most of them being possible anti-votes against the champ. But did ANYONE vote for Little Mac because they liked him more than Samus? Probably not. Most people probably wanted Samus's road to the championship crown to end in the 1st round, so they clicked on the handy circle next to the words, "#16 Little Mac(he's gonna get punched-out!!)" so that Samus would lose. But did she lose? Heck no! There are just more Samus fans than Little Mac fans! If you're mad about Mac losing, go back to your NES and play punch-out. Beat the crap outta Tyson. Comments �I was definetly one of the many surprised to see Little Mac put up a fight. If Samus is going to have this kind of trouble against a #16 seed, then what can she do about Waluigi?
