| On the 3rd of April, in the vicinity of Carre�o airfield, pilot Juan Olmos Genov�s was shot down and taken prisoner while leading three Letov-S231 fighters. On the10th of that month the Chatos defended part of the Krone Circus in the attack on Vergara, and on the17th the operation was repeated on targets in �lava. On 30th April pilots Lamba and Carrasco Mart�nez of the defunct Naval Air Arm, flying Gourdou Leseurre 32s, attacked the advance national forces in Biscay, which were putting pressure on the ring of iron. |
