| Our meeting on October 19, 2006
will be held @ The Laurens County Library, which is located at 1017 West
Main Street in Laurens. We will start at 6:30 P. M. and the meeting
will end by 8:30. Since we are meeting here there will be no meal served. Our guest speaker this month will be MR. SKIP EARLE, he will continue his talk about GENERAL NATHAN BEDFORD FORREST. We will also be inducting officers at this meeting. |
| We are still planning on
having committees for the McGowan Monument and Building Funds, so if you
are interested please see a camp officer. We are also looking for a
McGowan Camp Historian who will take pictures of our meetings, headstone
installations and various other projects of the camp, we need to keep a historical
record for future camp members. |
