Miss Schoolfield is a member of the Joseph B. Kershaw Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy (Laurens, South Carolina) and a graduate of Bob Jones University in Greenville.
After graduating from B.J.U., she returned to her home in Macon, Georgia.
