Stewart Morgan, public relations director for the SC Association of Counties will be with us to do a program he recently presented to the Laurens Kiwanis Club on "Confederate Blockade Runners." Mr. Morgan is well informed in underwater archaeological expeditions about several War Between the States wrecks off the coast in NC and he will utilize some slides depicting some of these. While most of our discussions revolve around land battles of the war, Mr. Morgan will give us some interesting information on a topic that few discuss. Light sandwiches, chips and soft drinks will be served at 6:30 p.m. Come early and bring a friend. |
