Our meeting on January 11, 2007 will be at Roma’s Restaurant on the Square in Laurens.  This dinner meeting will be to celebrate General Robert E. Lee’s 200th birthday and to remember South Carolina’s Secession.  Period dress is encouraged. We will start eating at 6:00 P. M. and our meeting will start about 7:15 P. M.  Our guest speaker will be Commander Randy Burbage of the South Carolina Division. Starting in February we will be starting a push towards our final goal of the MONUMENT to McGOWANS BRIGADE at SPOTSYLVANIA COURT HOUSE on MAY 12, 2008!!  I hope to see everyone on the 11th and hope all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
