| ANNOUNCEMENTS: The Walhalla Camp, Cons of Confederate Veterans, extends an invitation to SCV compatriots, friends and the general public to join them for their March 9th meeting at 6:00 p.m. at the Walhalla Volunteer Fireman Hut # 2 (behind the Walhalla Fire Dept) located at 207 E. Broad Street – Walhalla, SC. Their special event speaker is Mr. H. K. Edgerton former past president of the Asheville, NC chapter of the NAACP. Mr. Edgerton is a self proclaimed “Confederate American” who carried the Christian Cross of St. Andrew, the Confederate Battle Flag across 7 states and 1600 + miles march from Asheville to Austin Texas in support of the Southern Cause and to raise awareness of the truth of the “War Between the States.” Mr. Edgerton is well known for his lectures of Blacks in the Confederacy and the black salve owners who sold his ancestors to white Northern slave ship owners.
