Well, alot of have happened this week.  MR wise I have finally decided even though I had already changed my mind, to use TTrak and Kato UniTrak.  The construction methods and standards are already there, plus I do not have to worry about converting a fleet of rolling stock and locos to run on code 55.  I hope to mabe start on the first module this upcoming week. 

On a different note, my family is growing and my wife and I are expecting our second child.  So if in the next few weeks I miss an entry please forgive me.  You will know that I am burning the midnight oil.  However I still plan to work on the layout, just scaled back.

Also, we went to a family reunion Sat, on the way back we stopped at a KMart where we needed to pick up a few things, while I was there I was browseing the toy isle and found  some CAT construction mini's toys.  They seem to be the right size for nscale.  I picked up an excavator and a backhoe loader.  I will let you know how they fit and post some pics.
