I've been working on ideas that I want to work into the new MS. I think the biggest thing is that I have made up my mind to go to a point to point. Why? More operation in more space. After sketching a few ideas out, those loops just take up so much space. I don't have a lot of it and it needs to be more portiable than the last layout. If any one has ever seen a T-Trak module or OneTrak module, a hybrid of the two is what Im shoting for. I will not be using Kato Unitrak thougth. The mods will be about 18" by 3' to 4'. I will also be using Atlas code 55. The reason I said it is a hybrid is because I say a suggestion for a T-Trak module constructed from blue insulation foam. I would add 1/4 plywood to the bottom and add another layer of blue foam to the top to lymanate the whole thing. Lastly I would add adjustable table feet and small right angle brackets and the end. The brackets could be either bolted together for semi-perminate connection or clamped together for temporary show. Another reason I love this design is that I can place it on a table like T-Trak or on a shelf. I'm still working on a track plan however I think I have one in mind that that I can adapt form Model Railroad Planning 1999.
