* Auroch sips his beer

<Auroch> Mmm, a fine frothy ale!

* Nierad checks to see if his harp is ready to be played

* Zeke goes to a table

* Auroch pulls a chair next to Zeke

* Zeke smiles at Auroch

* Nierad runs towards Zeke's table

* Auroch gestures to the bartender to bring food to the table

* Zeke 's stomach growls

* Kiran yawns and stretches and wanders downstairs, now dressed in a medium length skirt and fitted blouse

* Kairune grumbles

<Nierad> I have rarely taken off my red armor...

<Auroch> Mornin' darlin!

* Kairune downs another whiskey

<Whillen> At the bar you see a female elf wearing dark green, loose fitting clothing.  She has a tattoo of a blue line streaking down her face, almost

  looking like a line of tears.  She's sipping some kind of wine.

* Kairune glares at Kiran

<Kairune> who're you lookin at?

<Auroch> Not this early you two!

<Kairune> bah

* Kairune grumbles

* Auroch nudges Nierad

<Kiran> You Kairune, and your booze.

<Auroch> Why don't ye invite the pretty lass over here

* Nierad begins to play his harp, a melody, a song of nature, you could almost hear the birds chirping through his song

<Nierad> me?

* Kiran notices the elf and smiles at her

<Kiran> Men

<Auroch> Yea, ye

<Kiran> Sheesh, ya all are a bunch of chickens

* Nierad stops playing

<Auroch> Bah!

* Whillen has not noticed anyone else, actually, although she's listening to Nierad play the harp

* Nierad stands and heads toward the elf

* Kairune growls

<Whillen> (She smiles) Hello.  Thank you for the music.

<Auroch> Sit down there Kairune, I'll not have ye grumbling yet

<Kairune> i am sitting

* Kiran sighs and orders breakfast

* Kairune comes over to the table

* Kairune slaps Nierad on side of the head

* Nierad sighs and turns his back to Kairune

* Nierad closes his eyes and begins to play the song he was playing just before

* Auroch notices that there are some privileges that come with being small, as he stands beside Whillen

* Zeke laughs

* Nierad leans against a wall, one foot touching the wall, and the other the floor

* Whillen looks at Auroch

* Kairune chuckles

* Auroch quickly picks up the food from the bartender and rushes it to the table

* Sereith chants and focuses, turning into a virtual mirror image of Kairine

* Auroch focuses on his food, knowing that he'd need his strength this day

* Kiran nearly falls out of her chair laughing

* Kairune growls at the mispronunciation of her thought patterns

<Sereith> Well, we had a trrreasure to go afterrr, no?

<Auroch> Any ideas where te start?

* Nierad stops playing and sits down on the table

* Nierad opens his eyes and looks at Zeke

* Kiran moves Kairunes whiskey glass out of the way and replaces it with a glass of juice

<Nierad> I could use a little food myself

* Kairune spits out the juice in disgust

* Auroch makes sure no one tries to eat his portion of breakfast

* Kairune coughs

* Kiran snickers at Kairune

* Kairune glares

* Whillen looks like she's already eaten

<Kiran> You should eat normal stuff.

* Sereith reverts back into a saris

* Kairune grumbles

* Zeke grins

<Kiran> We are gonna need everyone's help today to get the treasure!

* Zeke thinks about the dragons.....

* Zeke shivers

* Zeke thinks about the treasure..

* Auroch thinks about the treasure

<Nierad> I want some money to start my travels

<Kiran> All I know is that I need new armor, I had to throw the old stuff out.

* Nierad begins to play a fast melody; it feels like warmth and courage

* Sereith runs over to Zeke and slaps him

<Kiran> There was so much gore and goo on it I couldn't even clean it.

<Kiran> But I have a few scales and am going to have them put into armor when we find the treasure!

* Zeke whimpers

* Kiran gets up and heads to her room to pack quickly

<Whillen> Yes, I need to do that as well.  I'll be back.

* Whillen heads upstairs

* Nierad stops playing

* Auroch watches Whillen go upstairs

<Zeke> but you better not let them eat me!!

<Nierad> well the blood came right off my red armor, or so I think

<Sereith> I would neverrr let them eat you

* Kairune spits in Zeke's general direction

* Nierad slaps Kairune with the back of his hand on the back of his head

<Auroch> If ye'll feel better, I'll tell 'em ye taste bad

* Zeke grins at Sereith

* Sereith glares at Auroch

<Zeke> I give them hairballs!!

<Zeke> thats what i always say!

* Kiran packs her belongings and looks sadly at her worn and now ruined leather armor.

* Sereith rolls her eyes

* Kairune grabs Nierad by the collar and throws him against a table

* Auroch laughs

<Auroch> I'd better go pack too, keep an eye on Kairune

* Kairune grumbles

* Nierad groans and stands up

<Nierad> let's not do this again

* Auroch walks up the stairs to his room

* Whillen comes back downstairs, appearing to be wearing leather armor under her shirt this time. She also has a bow and quiver strapped to her back.

<Kairune> bah

* Kairune waves Nierad off

<Nierad> this time Auroch is not here to stop you

* Kiran walks downstairs in time to see Kairune hit Nierad. Tossing a dagger at the table it lands right in front of Kairune.

* Kairune grunts

* Kairune feigns fear

<Kairune> you call that a knife?

* Kairune takes out his short sword

* Auroch puts his armor on, and gathers his things

<Kiran> Kairune, you should try to be nice, we might save your life.

<Nierad> we already did Kiran

* Nierad uses his harp, and the strings shoot off, and they trip Kairune

<Auroch> Hmm, which axe'll I use today?

<Auroch> It feels like a fishy day!

* Nierad calls back the strings

* Auroch takes his Lamurian blade

<Kairune> bah

* Kiran pulls out her sword

* Auroch goes downstairs, all packed

* Sereith checks to see if her stiletto is still set in her leather bracer

<Kiran> No, this is a knife.

* Kairune frowns

<Auroch> What're ye doin?

* Kairune puts away his short sword

* Kiran gathers her weapons and smiles sweetly at Kairune

* Zeke oils his war claw

<Kiran> I would think it would want a place difficult to reach.

<Auroch> Aye, mountains are the best bet

<Kalick> cant say for sure but at night there were some god awful cries..

* Auroch looks at Kalick

<Nierad> and mountains are hard to travel by steed, we best go by foot

<Sereith> We would be fine without you.

* Kiran looks surprised at Sereith and Zeke

* Kalick looks at the sun and ponders

<Nierad> oh come on Sereith!

* Kiran picks some of the vegetation along the pathway as they travel and puts it in her pack

<Sereith> If we do rrrun into such a forrrce, I will simply act as yourrrr captor moving you to a diferrrrent prison

* Auroch finds another black feather along the path, and he picks it up

* Auroch grumbles

<Sereith> We get by unharrrrmed and unfollowed

<Kairune> bah

* Kairune scowls at the feather picking

* VerDir watches from the distance

<Kalick> me/ Kalick pauses, feels he is being watched

* VerDir picks up his ch0-ku-nu and follows about three miles behind them

* Zeke peeks over the rocks to check for dragons

* Sereith puts her hands over her eyes and sighs in frustration

* Auroch carefully makes his way in

* Nierad slowly moves his stiffened muscles, then he quickly runs to the side of the cave

* Kiran waits for Auroch signal

* Zeke gulps

* Sereith pulls Zeke aside

<Auroch> Now Kiran!

* Nierad begins to play in discord, and moves towards the dragon

* Nierad stops playing, and tackles Zeke

* Sereith balls the contained fire up, then thrusts it at the dragon

* Kiran hits the cave wall with a thud

* Kiran stands up shakily and pulls her dagger. With surprising speed she jumps on the dragons wing and climbs up again embedding her dagger in

  its throat

* Zeke picks up some gold and throws it at the dragon

* Ecbatana swipes at Sereith with her tail

* Zeke throws some golden coins at Ecbatana

* Nierad begins to play a low song, and then the strings of his harp shoot out and aim towards the dragon's front feet

* Zeke runs over to Sereith

* Auroch charges in with the final blow

* Zeke tries to wake her

* Kiran holds on tightly, trying to not get thrown again

* Kiran is tossed off as the dragon falls to the ground

* Zeke whimpers, trying to get Sereith up

* Nierad thinks (I got to concentrate on Sereith, I cannot kill the raven now)

* Kiran pales and looks ill watching the raven

* Raven watches Nierad carefully

* Sereith has broken bones

* Nierad cannot hold his thirst for death

* Nierad uses his harp again, and makes the string fly out at great speed towards the raven

* Raven tries to dodge the harp, but is too slow

* Raven is dead

* Kairune growls at Nierad

* Kairune tries to pick up a few odds and ends while the dwarf isnt looking

* Sereith opens her eyes and lookes a t Zeke, and screems

* Auroch is too intent on Sereith to see Kairune

* Nierad begins to play the song again to Sereith

* Zeke shrieks

* Kairune sees a lance in the corner of the cave

* Kairune runs over to the weapon

* Auroch caresses the handle

* Nierad notices a human skull

* Kairune grunts as he sticks it in his pack

* Whillen moves over to the dragon's head and appears to be fiddling with something

* Sereith points the mirror at Auroch, then chants a little

* Sereith appears to become Auroch

* Nierad thinks (This poor human... he fell to death)

* Kiran watches the others

* Zeke giggles

* Auroch looks at Sereith

* Kairune pockets some more coins

* Nierad moves towards a bracelet with turquoise gems on it

* Zeke giggles at the dwarf's comment

* Nierad grabs the bracelet and puts it on

* Auroch sees bracers that might fit him

* Sereith points it at Zeke, then decides against it

* Auroch tries to put them on

* Kairune laughs

* Nierad removes the bracelet and gives it to Kiran

* Auroch is speechless

* Nierad stares at the necklace

* Kairune frowns at the dwarf, realizing his folly

<Whillen> She died, at home, in a village that was destroyed by these dragons.

* Kairune frantically picks his coins back up

<Whillen> They deserve no sympathy.

* Whillen puts the necklace back on, and heads back out of the cave.

<Auroch> I'm sorry you feel that way

* Sereith trots after Whillen

* Kiran spies a leather-bound book with runes on it and walks over to it

<Zeke> jogs out

<Sereith> Arrre you ok?

*Zeke jogs back in

<Whillen> I am now.

* Auroch leaves the cavern

* Nierad says under his breath "I got no family..."

* Auroch will have no more to do with the trove, regardless of what Whillen says

* Kairune leaves the cave, pushing the saris out

* Kiran dumps the gold and gems out, except for the bracelet Nierad gave her and replaced it with the book.

<Sereith> I underrrstand.  The deed is satisfied.  Honorrr is sufficient

* Nierad sites down, his back resting against the cavern walls

* Whillen didn't take anything from the hoard but the necklace.

* Nierad takes out a piece of paper, and reads it softly

<Nierad> "I always will love you"

<Whillen> And now I won't have to go on hating dragons.

* Sereith pats Whillen's back

<Auroch> That... is a good thing Whillen

* Nierad folds the paper again and puts it back in his armor

* Whillen nods at Auroch

* Kiran bends down and picks up a few gold coins, "travel expenses", and then walks outside

* Nierad stands up and walks outside

* Zeke walks around impatiently

<Nierad> so what are we to do now?

* Sereith stands alert as a small 'I' lights up on her waist

* Zeke looks at the I in curiosity

* Zeke points

<Sereith> I must be going

* Auroch notices the "I"

<Zeke> awww

<Auroch> hmmm

* Sereith runs out of the cave

* Auroch notices as they leave the cave that the sky is unusually dark

* Auroch is sure that is for another story though

* Zeke sighs sadly

<Kiran> Looks like rain.

<Auroch> Kairune? You're not sad, are you?

<Kiran> We should find a place to stay.

* Sereith runs over to an outcrop and makes sure no one is watching, then traces the shape of an I in the air

<Kairune> well, dwarf...

<Kairune> it's been nice knowin ya...

* Kiran sighs and sits down next to Auroch

<Kairune> but I have to return to the guard

* Ezariel appears near Sereith

<Auroch> Aye, it's been an experience

<Kairune> They're probably wondering where I am right now...

<Nierad> sure was fun

* Whillen sits down at the edge of the mountain, her feet hanging off the edge.

* Kairune spits

<Auroch> Keep yer grumblin up, my good man

* Nierad walks behind Kiran

* Kairune nods

* Ezariel speaks quickly and quietly

* Kiran looks up at Neirad and smiles

* Kairune walks off, grumbling

* Auroch looks at Kiran

<Ezariel> You must come at once Inquisitor, your duties demand your attention

* Zeke looks around for Sereith

<Sereith> I underrrrstand

<Kiran> Do we try to find a place to bunk down for the night or stay here?

<Auroch> No, we'd better stay here

* Zeke sees Sereith talking to an angel

<Ezariel> Good come now

<Auroch> If it starts te rain it'll be hard te find shelter out there

* Zeke gasps

* Zeke waves

<Kiran> What are you doing Zeke?

* Ezariel notices the Saris, then enters the astral plain

<Zeke> and Sereith

* Kiran looks and sees nothing

<Kiran> Were you hit on the head?

* Sereith walks over to Zeke

<Auroch> Angel? Bah!

* Zeke rubs his head...

<Sereith> You are delerrrious darrrling

<Zeke> i could've sworn....

*** Ezariel has left #roleplaying

<Auroch> Whillen, will ye be stayin the night with us?

<Auroch> Nierad, it's not like yer 300 years old ye know!

<Nierad> quite old enough

* Whillen jumps slightly "Huh? Oh... sure."

<Sereith> I must be off, I need to attend to cerrrtain, buisness

* Zeke frowns sadly

* Auroch sets up the camp while Kiran looks after the food

<Nierad> shall we eat dragon meat?

* Kiran removes her armor and carves dragon steaks

* Nierad heads toward the cave

* Auroch pulls some cured meat out of his pack

<Auroch> This is enough fer me

* Kiran puts the steaks on to cook

* Sereith runs over to Zeke and kisses him, then runs off into the distance

* Zeke chews on some herbs he pulls out of his pouch

*** Ezariel has joined #roleplaying

* Zeke 's whisker's quiver when she kisses him

* Ezariel appears next to Sereith once she is out of their sight

* Kiran finishes cooking and eats her dinner

* Whillen isn't eating the dragon meat. Instead she eats the birds that Nierad killed and didn't notice her pick up.

* Kiran sets up a place to sleep with some of the clothes she found in the cave as bedding.

* Auroch goes to sleep by the cave wall, dreaming of dragons and villages and most of all, ravens
