Horizons is dead in the water. I cheer. Hence, this website has been left as is for far too long. However, eventually one has to move on, or delete the website to restore needed hard drive space on the host server. And so, I asked myself what should I do with this space? Neverwinter Nights is coming out in June, I could make a dwarf website about that. And don't get me wrong, I plan on playing that game until I drop from exhaustion There are other characters too, don't get me wrong. I really identified with Aslo, the Psionicist, and Archimedes the wise Dragon. Then there were Tikki, Nalonna, Daowen, Griselda, Reiji, Tayd Jeroe and Duncan. Others too, I just can't recall them. What all this shallow introspection leads to is that I like to write. I don't claim my writing is any good; the only reason Auroch is so memorable in my mind is because of the way other people wrote him. Friends I made through roleplaying on the Horizons message board. They would write about the antics of the only dwarf (or so it seemed most of the time) in the boards, and that would make me smile. So, until I find a game I can properly obsess over or a message board that retains my interest long enough (I blame TV... well not really, it's hard to blame something that gives so much and asks so little)... where was I? Oh right, message board. Well anyway, until that happens, I'm going to write some stories here so that anyone can enjoy them. All the old stories that I posted cowritten by several are still here, they're not going anywhere. I had more stories, but they were lost in the Great hard drive crash of '01. Hmm, great really should have a capital letter there. Well that's the great thing about word processors, they can correct that kind of stuff. So until the muse whacks me over the head with a blunt instrument, I'll be putting my doggerels up here for the entire world to laugh at. It's okay, I can take it. I eat bran.
