My name´s Daniela. the purpose of this site is to tell you something about me.

Well, I´m 22, rather short (1,63m - what´s this in ft.?), have dark brown eyes, hair color - hmm, I´d say brownish, sometimes red resplendent (nice word, huh? got it from the dictionary ´cause I´m writing here in my second language. I´m german.)

You wanna know something more personal? I have a little sister, who´s nearly nine years younger than me and can be very unnerving. I still live with my parents but hope to change that soon. But no, I´m not going to live with a boyfriend. I want to be free for some time, to find out who I really am and who I wanna be. I want to be my own person. I try to losen the strings to my parents and don´t want to tie me to another person so quickly. Well what else? I love ice cream, hot dogs and pizza (by the way, I hate potatoes) and could live on these things only if I had something to say... I love The X-Files and almost never miss an episode. I can relate to Scully - I´m a lot like her. Independent. Proud. Not wanting to seem weak. Always there for others but also pretty lonely sometimes though I have some really good friends. Sometimes I think I´m thinking too much...
Okay, enough of that. Now on with the show!

Sooo, I love reading (have a fairly large collection of Star Trek, Star Wars and X-Files books, but own also some from Charmed, Stargate and some movie tie-ins), I like sports ( soccer, tennis...) - and no, I´m not only watching it in tv <bg>.
My favourite music varies with the mood I´m in. Generally I´m listening to Metallica, Nirvana, U2, the Foo Fighters and classic rock. But it can happen that I sneak to my sisters CD-rack and snatch her Robbie Williams and BSB CD´s. Hell, I´m only human - and a girl... Well, and then there´s Billy Joel. I simply love the lyrics, my favourites are the really sappy love songs.

Movies - that´s not so easy. Let´s see...I never can get enough of Singin´ in the rain and Robin Hood (the old one from the 30´s with Errol Flynn).
Then, I love action movies like Die Hard, Air Force One, Last Boy Scout and Death Train, Playing God, Missing In Action, Sidekicks (I  watched I as a kid and still like it. Sorry. <vbg> )
But I also love movies with a good amount of humor: Lethal Weapon, True Lies, Charlies Angels, hey, Galaxy Quest was fun, Much Ado About Nothing.
What else? Hamlet. Star Trek. Star Wars. (without The Phantom Menace - god was this film awful! that´s only for kiddies but no real entertainment for sci-fi fans. But guess why they did it - money.)
AND my all time favourite is Fight the Future!! (now that was really surprising, huh?)

So, the movie section is finished. I think it´s now time to go to my favourite actors/actresses.
I´ll do it as a top 5 list for the actresses and a top ? list for the actors.

Well, you sure as hell have found out by now that I´m a phile, huh? And a very proud one! I try to put everything I can find in the net about The X-Files on my homepage, but there simply is too much and I have not enough time to do it.
But I´ve come to love a new aspect of this show. Fanfiction. At first I only enjoyed reading the stories written by very talented people (guess which one´s are my favourites...Yes!! 10 brownie points for you! I love reading NC-17 stories, especially by DonniLee. This winter I finally started to write my own TXF fanfic and I will continue though the show approaches it´s end. I simply love these characters too much to let ´em go.
And ´cause I´ve gotten really nice feedback on my stories I see no reason to stop writing. By the way, it´s fun! Perhaps I have soon the courage to write NC-17´s myself, who knows? But I´m still not comfortable with that thought.
 

If I get access to a scanner I´m going to show you some of my pics okay? But for now this site has to go without them.
