Weapons: Primarily a mage, she is highly skilled in both holy and vision magic, and is a novice to ice elemental magic. She has a rune in the palm of each of her hands, one for vision the other for holy. They've been there since her tenth birthday. Around her neck on a silver chain she wears her ice amulet. Found in a scabbard on her hip she carries a Damascus dagger with a 40 cm blade and ivory handle with 4 garnet stones embedded in the handle.
Fighting Style: Kyra isn't so much a combatant is she is useful for support. She can be counted on to aid the primary fighters during battle by healing and using her magic to aid them. If attacked, she focuses on defense so that she and Damion if he's with her would be allowed to flee.
Background: Born and raised in Ix, she was trained by a young age to become a priestess. Her mother was a scholar and taught many children the teachings of Nia, and her father was a mystic and master of divination. She was raised to understand and appreciate Nia and her religion and also to comprehend the meanings of the oracles thoroughly. Entering a convent at age 7, she began her training to become priestess. She had her visions and holy runes fused in her hands when she turned 10, the same time she became the current priestess' apprentice. She showed great promise and at the early age of 14 had a mastery of her chosen magic. She had her coronation for priestess of the City of Myst when she was 16, and rose to become one of the most gifted in the country. When she was 18 she was one of the nominees to become head priestess, but it was at that time that Santelia led a raid of the Mystic community. Among the victims were Kyra, who was raped and her home invaded and pillaged. What she remembers was a band of knights and their leader, a demonic appearing man with yellow eyes and black skin. He was the one who raped and impregnated Kyra. Her vow of chastity was broken, recognized by her country as a victim of crime but still unable to continue her servitude to Nia. Kyra bid farewell to her family and peers and while pregnant left the country on a ship headed to Jinn. She has raised her son there for the last five years and kept mostly to herself, working as a maid in a prominent inn. Over the last few years she has heard the rumors and the stories of Kamerus Kallian and the Knights of Death during their raids of Terra and Jinn. Her instinct tells her that this man is the cause of her isolation from her people, and she will find him someday, if not to confront him then to bind his spirit from destroying other lives. She lives now in Cyen and has been studying history concerning the Sentran Trials.
