MORE PICS
LINKS AND OTHER PROJECTS

It started out as a four week project which for various reasons has become a three year ordeal.....
I have exhausted most text book excuses ie: couldn't be bothered, to cold to paint (I live near snow) and
at times it is really really too cold to paint .....honest. Anyway we have almost finished it.... hopefully
over the next couple of weeks everything will get bolted back where it belongs and the beasty 440 will
hit the streets (its a daily driver) and this webspace.

Well Back again, we decided after much mucking aroung that the drivers side door
was never going to line up and as a result went and sourced another second hand door. We are about to rip the current door off and replace it with the referbished item.....it will look much better..... also we have been touching up the trim and started to put it back together, but really..... after yet another year of not doing anything, and f#$#$% around, we are getting closer to
putting the VK on the road (as most of you would know Albury is only 10 weeks away!!!)

Anyhow we dusted off the old girl and decided to take it for a run down to the local petrol station
We  were thinking it may well be a tad unroadworthy!!!

We have finally started to spend a bit more time on the VK, whilst we make steps forward we constantly make more steps backwards, just from dumb mistakes like the drill chuck burning into the new external vinyl and then have to pull off the trim to rectify it.......but we still keep going forward. We have positioned the new door the bulk of the interior has been put back together, left rear quarter was stripped and resprayed etc etc. In the last 2 days I have been able to put the rear assembly back togther except for the passengers side rear to chrome brow (which strangley went missing) starnger things disapear and resurface however, so all and all the car is slowly coming together by this Monday evening we hope to have the front end bolting toghether and by Tuesday ..... well we will wait and see!!! more to follow.
