Dear Bn,
The incredible thing that we share is the friendship. The passion, the intimacy, the amazing sex are all very visible parts of the relationship, but the friendship is the bedrock that permeates everything we do together. And that is what makes is all so wonderful. True friendship is profound, deep, entirely trustful. Having it with you makes everything else that much more significant.
Your friendship HAS impacted me. Besides the trust, comfort and friend-love that I feel with you, you have reminded me about some important friendship rules, some of which I've broken: - never take a friend for granted
- never assume your friend cannot be hurtt by you because they are your
friend
- always talk to your friend often; even if there isn't much to report
- never give your friend the same card yoou've given to someone else
- learn when a friend doesn't really meann it when they say "I'm fine. No, I don't need to talk"
- give your friend small, inexpensive, thhoughtful gifts, notes, or emails every once in a while
- give your friend backrubs, if appropriaate
- always be honest with a friend
- remember to water the plants, just likee the friendship, that your friends give you
This relationship we have is different, challenging, comfortable, exciting. I do not know where it leads, but I'm sure it will be a rewarding journey getting there. Thank you for loving me, putting up with me, being a friend to me. I am now part you. And that would be a good
thing.
Your Friend.
