Venice Beach was the ultimate destination of Michael Douglas' character in the 1993 movie "Falling Down." This is a great example of an L.A. movie as it shows many different visions of the city that the real people who live there see.  From McArthur Park and the subway construction to the end of the Pier in Venice Beach.
