My ceiling shouldn't do this, should it?
To find out what the heck happened, read about it here in the entries for the 7th and the 10th.
This is an oddly pretty picture.

Water all up under my carpet.

Luckily, the water was stagnant here. It only coated the wall and I never saw any movement.

Lightbulbs shouldn't cry like this.

Yeah, seeing all this in my closet and everywhere else, it's amazing to know that almost nothing got damaged.

This was just after the water was shut off, which was over an hour after the deluge started.

Yup, some plaster started falling from the ceiling before the maintenance guys even left.

There were roughly 9 metric tons of water under the carpet in my bedroom when it was all said and done. The carpet undulated when I walked on it.

The maintenance guys brought in an odd fan to help to dry things to prevent mold from growing. When the dude came back on this day, he put the fan so it was blowing under the carpet. This amused me. Watch a video of it here. Just right click this link and choose save as and save it TO YOUR DESKTOP. Don't save it and then ask me where it went, cuz I won't answer.
