| SECOND GRADE Kelsey FINALLY came home to be educated where she should have been all along! I thought we would enjoy unit studies, and I had heard that KONOS was the best, but it was expensive and I wanted to make sure unit studies were the way to go. I borrowed "Prairie Primer". We could not have been happier! All you need to supplement "Prairie Primer" is language and math. We chose ABeka for both of those classes. Kelsey really enjoyed workbooks. Kelsey enjoyed "Prairie Primer" so much that she pretended to be Laura Ingalls almost every time she played! She turned our shed into her cabin and ran rope and a pail from tree branches for her water well. We made her a dress with apron and bonnet and she was thrilled! |
