We have learned that we live in the city of St. Louis, State of Missouri, United States of America, North America, Planet Earth. This is our Global Address.

We are learning about our community in Second Grade. Studing our community is giving us a better understanding of our city and how it operates. We are celebrating our Freedom as Americans in this Unit. Every day we are using maps, graphic organizers, and charts. We are becoming aware of Community Current events as well. All Second Graders are working on becoming responsible members of our community.

My Town is important because we have lots of places to go.
There are malls all over and each one is different.
We have Movie Theaters, Oprah Houses, and even a Symphony.
Kids love the Magic House, Zoo, Butterfly House, Grant's Farm, and Six Flags.
