Ms. Steffens' Class Awards
Receiving Star Student Status in Ms. Steffens Class is TOP HONORS.  To become a Star Student a child must display self-control, understanding of School/Class rules, and Citizenship.  A child is a Star Student when they have 3 or less days in one month where their behavior was noted.  We all make mistakes, so each child in my classroom can have 3 "free" mistakes a month before it costs them the status of Star Student.  Star Students receive...name in class newsletter, picture on class website, special certificate, invitation to a Star Student only party, treats, and opportunity to be the school wide Student of the Month.
I am very proud of these 15 students who worked very hard to make my Star Student List!!! I can not wait to see next month's group of Star Students.
Monroe School holds a  Monthly Assembly that awards students and classes that have been excellent that month.  Awarded at this time are the Golden Note (Music), Golden Sneaker (P.E.), Golden Big Book (Library), and the Golden Paint Brush (Art).  These go to the class (K-2) and (3-5) who has followed the Ancillary Teachers Rules and Guidelines the best during that month. Below is our list of awards in these categories.
