| We are digging deeper into plants and animals this month. By the end of the month we will be studing frogs and toads quite in-depth. Learing about Frogs and Toads is not only the topic of our Science Classes, but it has been interegrated into all subject areas. Every student in room 109 will be able to explain the Life Cycle of a Frog using words and pictures. This will give the students a greater understanding of Life Cycles as well as prepare them for the MAP test. Understanding habitats of several types of animals is also on the agenda for May. |

| We are writing letters to several Marines stationed in Iraq. We also made a banner showing our support. We are thankful to have these heros protecting the United States of America. We look forward to hearing back from the men we are writing and learning about their jobs. |
