Raymond Page Information
Raymond Page was born of California stock in 1945 and spent his boyhood on small Southern California farms, first near Venice and later near Riverside, where his father ran aircraft reclamation businesses. Page's initial formal training in art was at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. He later enrolled in a private studio program taught by Glenn Vilppu, a Dutch artist and Art Center professor specializing in classical figure painting.
