Tbay, Day 141
Attended a seminar entitled "Dispersion Modelling for Compliance" at the P&P conference today. Or "Dispersion Molding" as was printed on my ID tag. lol. And one of the presenters had a very heavy accent where porrushun = pollution and proome = plume. The other presenter had a habit of saying "alorgrithm" instead of algorithm. I certainly had flashbacks of being in chem lecture or tutorial...

Tbay, Day 140
Woohoo! No more work for me this week! Gonna spend the rest of the week at a pulp and paper conference. I hope they have some nice free stuff, cuz i missed getting highlighters and mouse pads and other types of pads at the UofT street party this year. hehe. Also they provide free lunch. How can i lose? I just hope i don't slide out of my chair when i (inevitably) fall asleep during the seminars... 8)

Tbay, Day 136
Azn people might be familiar with this type of fish sauce, but even so, a picture is worth a thousand words (or laughs). hehehe. And yes, i took this picture in the grocery store, luckily there weren't many people in the Caribbean/Oriental/Import aisle. Come to think of it, there never are too many ppl in that aisle...

Tbay, Day 135
My landlords are having their washroom renovated. So i come home the other day, and find my washroom with different floor mats, and the counter with a whole bunch of other stuff which was not my stuff on it. I've come to the conclusion that sharing a washroom with landlords is not something i like. I hope this renovation is over real quick...cuz the washroom door doesn't have a lock on it....

Tbay, Day 131
According to the farmer's almanac for TB, it will be a very cold, but 'snowless' winter. I am told that in the winter of 95-96 TB got eleven feet of snow. After one storm, people couldn't leave their houses for 3 days. And when they did, they had to tunnel out their doors. haha. I can't even imagine that much snow. Oh and during choir practice this week, we were told to find a partner from another voice section and make a little rhyme with their name in it. So guess what my partner's name was? DOLORES. Luckily the rhyme i came up with didn't require a word that rhymed with DOLORES. hehehe.

Tbay, Day 125
Four months in TB and counting. Here's a recap of what i've done in the last week.
- Tuesday I auditioned for a choir. Got in.
- Wednesday I had choir rehearsal. Choir's full of middle aged ppl, with some bordering on senile...
- Thursday I forget my keys at work and can't get into my apartment. Sit in my landlady's kitchen eating boiled beans until my friend comes to get me.
- Friday I go to "The Zoo", a bar/club and witness an old-middle-aged-trailer-park type woman (a.k.a. cougar) get too friendly with a nice piece of young meat. LOL.
- Saturday I go out to Wal-Mart and buy me a new garbage can. Woo hoo!

Tbay, Day 119
Went out to my friend's cotta-, er, camp yesterday which is located on Surprise Lake. Cool name. Had a great time just lounging around. Oh, and ladies, if you're looking for a good time, give a guy a makeover. You will kill yourselves laughing. Trust me. bwahahahah!
