Tbay, Day 114
Apparently, Tbay doesn't have a large enuf 'azn' population to have Lakehead University listed on the AsianAvenue.com sign up form. hahahahha. Also a new experience for me was walking to the bus stop while the moon is still shining...

Tbay, Day 109
This might be my last update for a while, cuz my comp will be going under for some "minor surgery". Don't worry, i backed up all of my mp3's. hahaha. Ah, here's a good one - the chems going into 4th year at Lakehead are going to use the Reaction Kinetics book, complete with...(un)EZ Solve!! LOL! Remember, the key is having the differential equations before the algebraic equations... Oh, the horror.

Tbay, Day 107
K, gonna blab about some details that i keep forgetting to add to the page. These things happened recently, but are in no particular order.
- Bus driver thought i was a Native Canadian and asked me if i wanted to go to the reserve.
- Bus driver (a different one) was telling me about a trip he and his wife took to TO 17 years ago and they went to eat in Chinatown where all the menus were in chinese. Well imagine that! He started the story like this, "Ok, well i don't mean to be derogatory..."
- Waiting for the bus in the morning i hear a woman's voice saying, "Yeah, he had a really small dick!" Then a young lady (i guess) walks around the corner, talking outloud. First i thought she was on a cell phone w/ a headset, but she wasn't carrying a phone in her hand, had no purse and was wearing a tight dress and couldn't have clipped on a cell... Then i see that she's not wearing shoes. Those silly hicks...
- An old man in town has only 1/2 a face cuz he 'missed' or something when he was trying to commit suicide w/ a shotgun.

Tbay, Day 104
Ah, another relaxing weekend spent doing nothing. Er, well aside from housework. Made spicy chicken wings today for the first time. Did i ever mention that raw meat has a really revolting texture when u touch it? >>cringe<< But it was worth it in the end. Yum. Also held another viewing of the SkuleNite 2001 video and proved yet again, that only real engineers will truly understand all the subtle humour.

Tbay, Day 100
Woah, 100 days. Scary how time flies by, even up here in Tbay. The only interesting thing i've done lately is go for a little boat ride on Lake Superior - it's amazing how BIG three foot waves can seem when you're zooming over the water. It was like subway surfing gone crazy, with more up and down and side to side, plus the added danger of being tossed overboard... Yet, it was soooo much fun!

Tbay, Day 98
Apologies for not updating - I'm still working on a (sorta) big change. *)

Tbay, Day 94
THREE months here in Thunder Bay. THIRTEEN left and then uh, back to skule...Ew.
Here are some topics recently discussed in my office:
- Composing music while high and/or drunk.
- How "Any more than a handful is a waste." can be applied to both women and men.
- How Toronto nite clubs often have "Azn Nite".
- Gerbils murdering eachother.
- Evolution, the Big Bang theory and Noah's Ark.
- Studying the Bible while smoking pot.
- How some people at the mill are actually illiterate.
- Transporting large amounts of chlamydia.

Tbay, Day 92
More touristy stuff this long weekend. Went out to see Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park, about an hour out of tbay. It was VERY scenic and VERY windy. I also managed to get some nice pics without dropping my camera down about 300 feet into the "arctic tundra" at the bottom of the canyon. Also went to see the Terry Fox memorial. I saw his statue as well as some bikers dudes wearing leather chaps and a woman who just couldn't stop grabbing her husband's posterior. All in all, a very interesting weekend.

Tbay, Day 89
Went for a little tour of Lakehead "University" yesterday. It's...well...small. Also went to look at the truck dumper at the mill. This thing dumps big tractor trailers full of wood chips. It is the coolest piece of machinery i have seen at the mill so far.
