"I don't know...what can we do?" said Merry in his thinking voice. The two were headed to Earth with a small army. Army 30 (this army only has 30 members to it...that's why it's called Army 30.) On earth, was where Miow intended for Merry to stay for the duration of time that she would be off fighting her brother, Donkee.
Merry would be staying with Nuka until Kinosha returned from her conference with Yani. Kinosha was needed to help find Giftsu. Apparently she absorbed any information about the fight with the 20 and possibly the 80 that a young infant horse, Jyunu, had kept in his memory. Jyunu shared it with Kinosha with a glance of his eyes. Yani needed that information. She was unable to retrieve it from Jyunu herself. So that's where Kino was. Nuka is the horse who took her place for the day. He is a horse that has very little uses and is...well...a "lab rat." Being the planet's "lab rat" has been his whole life's story. It was his first time away from Mercury and he did a fairly good job.
Miow looked and looked for Nuka, but she couldn't find him at all. Miow and Merry ran into Farrah instead. Farrah's a full Veela (from Venus) that has taken the place of Taniso while she is on Venus getting her name cleared for a crime she commited.
"Have you seen Nuka?" asked Miow.
"No I haven't. Hasn't he left? You are back. So how was your conference Kino?" answered Farrah.
"Kino? She's not Kino, she's Miow." said Miow's tail. Merry was hiding there...again. Apparently he is scared of the Veela race.
"What said that?!" Farrah said shaking
"Why...that would be 'my tail of wonders'. It speaks to you...hoooo," replied Miow. Farrah had this expression on her face that was half interested and half scared, "ok so it's not 'my tail of wonders', it's only Merry. Come out you hobbit!"
"I don't wanna!"
"Oh you come out right now Merry ! The nice Veela won't hurt you. Isn't that right, Farrah"
"I won't hurt him...what's a hobbit?"
"What do you mean what's a Hobbit?!" boomed Merry as he jumped out of Miow's tail in a huff.
"THAT is a hobbit," said Miow looking back at Merry, "they are very interesting creatures from some place called The Shire."
"Oh!" Farrah said happily as she observed the funny little hobbit.
"Stop looking at me like that."
"Um...so you don't know where Nuka is? Has kino been around?" said Miow getting back on subject.
"Nope, I'm afraid not...Oh Taniso just contacted me and she got her name cleared! She's at the 12 house now with her teacher and Frodo Baggins-"
"FRODO BAGGINS!!!!" interupted Merry
"Yes, Frodo. He's on Venus right now. You could go there and visit for a while seeing as Nuka and Kino are nowhere to be found...that is if it's alright with Miow" continued Farrah.
"Works for me." chimed Miow.
Miow called a horse, Sally (short for Sallaniniala), to take Merry and his foldy computer thingie that he borrowed from Shushanu all the way back to Venus. Miow continued to talk to Farrah for a few more seconds and then she planned to leave for Uranus once Sally returned. BUT, Miow was knocked out in the middle of a sentence by her doctor, MED Rulu. MED Rulu prefers to be called just Rulu, the other MEDS insies on the "MED" part being said. Anyhow, Miow still haden't been mended from the fight with Yani. That's why Rulu was there.
"Finally,on solid ground." said Rulu, "It is much easier to tend her wonds on ground than in 'The Space'. Good heavens! More rips {{grrr}}"
Surprised at what had just happened, Farrah watched as Rulu went about sewing open wounds and such with her teeth and a hair from her course tail. "What are you doing?" She finally managed.
"Sewing up this hole...again. I got it to stop bleeding last night. That was hard to do, we were still in 'The Space' then."
"Wow, can i help?" asked Farrah politely.
"Help! I don't need help-" snapped Rulu
"I'm sorry, I meant assist you." interupted Farrah, Rulu instantly cooled her temper, "I forgot about your language. I'm sorry."
Rulu thought for a while and then finally said, "Sure. Grab a hair from my tail and look for and sew up any red-burnt holes."
Farrah was thrilled. She wanted to go into the medical division, too. She stiched a perfect Veela type war stitch and closed one of Miow's open wounds. Rulu looked to see the work Farrah had done.
"It's ...beautiful" said Rulu. She was getting all emotional over a stitch. Farrah was then confused. Rulu went on telling the story about herself and answering any questions that Farrah had about Mercurasian Meds.
