One day Harry and Ron and Hermione were walking down the street to Hogsmeade. Then, Harry noticed something in the bushes, and they went over to see what it was.
"Winky!" Harry exclaimed.
Winky was sobbing and moaning like crazy. The only time Harry had seen her cry like that was last year when Barty Crouch fired her.
"What's wrong Winky?" asked Hermione.
"Well," said Winky through tears running down her face, "I've been looking for a new master to work for, but no one needs my services."
She started to cry and sob some more. "Let me get this straight," said Ron, "You're willing to work for someone for free?" A big smile spread across Ron's face, and Harry new exactly what he was thinking....
