Short Summary

Bowmage Chronicles: Una Konaxi awakens, stripped of all memories. After a while, he meets Vicki, who helps him uncover part of his past.

Una has a strange dream in which he is bouncing between two worlds of magic or technology, and fighting to save both. Unknown at the time, and not mentioned in the Chronicles at all, is that the dream is an effect of the Origin Determination bonding with Una. Shortly afterwards, Neko, who is actually a servant of the Origin, joins up with Una, who recognizes him from the dream.

The three move to Jumi, a colony of the interstellar empire. On Jumi, mages of the earth practice their arts, free from the risk of injuring the planet's nonexistant inhabitants. However, rogue members of a guild of artists had captured Jumi's entire population (consisting of Earth-mages, exiles, vagabonds, wanderers, etc etc), and planned to use them
