Spain has great nightlife because they
go to bed late (unlike losers in the US)

We were lucky to get shown around by a genuine
Spanish night-life oficionado: Esteban de la Ascott

We learned that a proper night begins at the Plaza del Toros

The intro is wierd. Regan kept shouting: "Nomar!"

The bull comes in angry. "Lets go! (clap, clap) Toro!

It quickly gets nutty. Regan thought it was the best thing she'd seen since "Jackass"

When they killed the bull Regan had to put her head between her legs.

Afterwards there was a parade in the streets with Spanish music!

We watched it until dark

Then it was time for Gambas Arjillo (garlic)

And squid in its ink

Nearly every night we saw some Flamenco

Some were tourist shows, but they were good too.

Zapateo dancing really does it for me. Its like foot drum roll. Regan gets mad when I try it in bars.

This Flamenco was not a tourist show. This bar had only locals. It was like McTees.

The guitarist kept trying to get patrons to stop smoking. In Spain that's like trying to stop a glacier.

The bar also had a piano in the front room and I met some kid who played Flamenco piano

Regan often felt inspired to join the Flamenco dancing

I prefered to simply watch with my Tinto.

This was Regan's favorite flamenco venue.

She was obsessed with this guy.

Afterwards we went to a lesbian Bar (in Granada).

The lesbians had a little perito named "Golfy".

On the way home near 4:00am the parade musicians were still playing music in the streets (albeit drunkenly)
What a great place.

Unfortunately, the cathedral bells (right outside of our window)
make sure everyone in the neighborhood is up at 9:00 AM

Oops. Must be from the Disney World trip
