| Rules for Submitting Wallpapers Please send us your own wallpaper creations! We want them! We crave them! We need them! Send them to us!!! Just attatch the file (jpg's and bmp's work best!) to an email and send it off to [email protected]. Also, tell us what anime/manga series your paper is from, so we can put it on the proper page (we can't be familiar with EVERY series. ^_^*) Last nitpicky lil detail. Although we have no personal objections to hentai or yaoi, or anything like that, we must request that you keep the graphicness of your wallpapers to a minimum (take a look at what we've got posted, and that'll give you a good idea of what's appropriate). Our webhost will get mucho pissed if we put up what they could consider "porn," so if you send something we think they'll have a problem with, we can't put it up. Thanks, guys, for keepin' this relatively clean. I think that about does it for the rules. That wasn't so painful, was it? Oh, and if anybody out there sees an image in a wallpaper that they're absolutely POSITIVE came from their site, and they'd like a link, just email us and let us know, k? | How to use our wallpapers It's easy to use a wallpaper from our site on your computer (and from lots of other sites on the web, too). Now, I'm only familiar with Windows; if you're a Mac user (you nut), you're on your own. When you find the wallpaper you want, and you've got the FULL SIZE image, right click on it. A little menu will appear. If you just want to use the wallpaper for now, select "Set as background" or "Set as wallpaper." (This trick'll work for almost any image you find on the web.) This won't save the wallpaper image to the computer for later use. If you want to save the image, because you want to switch wallpapers from time to time w/o always coming back her (although we highly recommend that!), click on "Save image as . . ." on the lil menu. To use a saved image as your wallpaper, right click anywhere on the windows screen, and select "Properties" on the menu. Click the Desktop tab, and you can select your wallpaper from there, using the browse button to find the image you want. Helpful Hint! Sometimes an image that looked really clear on our website may come out grainy (all boxy and pixelated and stuff) on your desktop. If your wallpaper comes out looking different then it did when you picked it out here, you might wanna try changing your screen resolution. This is located under "Properties", under the "Settings" tab. The lower the resolution, the bigger stuff like your window text will be, but lowering or raising your resolution on that little scale can help your wallpaper look clearer. (Hint, hint: Most of our papers are 800x600, so try that resolution.) |

Rules for Usage of Wallpapers Anything you wanna take off this site and use on your own desktop is free and very much encouraged (that's what we're here for; we want you to take our stuff and enjoy it). If you wanna post any of these wallpapers on your own site, that's cool, too, cuz it gets our work out to the public even more, BUT ya gotta do two lil things for us: first, save the image to your own computer/server/etc. before posting it on your site (the memory space is your business, not ours), and second LINK BACK TO THIS SITE!!!! (Banners are good for that!) Please, give credit where credit is due, to the artist who made the wallpaper, and the site you took it from. It gets us more traffic, and keeps you right with the lord, so everybody wins. Daijoubu? Good. Moving right along . . . . |
