Geeks Gallery

Mmmmm. How convenient. Two geeks in one picture. On the right is Graham Coxon, on the left is Matt Sharp formerly of Weezer. When his band The Rentals toured with Blur they used to swap round on stage to see if anyone would notice.

Or summat like that. I'll have to check actually.

The current Weezer line-up (alas, minus Matt Sharp). But come to think of it, that bloke second from left is quite nice. Rivers Cuomo. Stupid name. Have I even spelt it right?

This picture is a bit small isn't it? You can't even see his head.

Update: After seeing Weezer last night we have decided we definitely DO NOT fancy Rivers Cuomo, until he has a shave.  He'd grown a dodgy beard and 'tache. Looked like a cross between Rolf Harris and a 70s porn star.

I found an article in one of the Sunday papers:

"... one finds it hard to admit that the male icons TV produces are actually quite a turn-off. So, out of pity, women develop sympathy crushes on these unappealing men. Their weak and nurturing sides try to make even the vilest man feel desirable ... What, too, but an overdeveloped sense of charity can make otherwise sensible women claim to fancy the likes of Jools Holland, Johnny Vaughan, Billy Connolly, Robson Green, Paul Merton, Des Lynam, Louis Theroux and Jonathan Ross?"

That's well out of order Ms Julie Birchill.

Incidentally, this is a picture from the episode of Never Mind The Buzzcocks featuring Steve Lamacq!

Did you know: there was once a feud between Mark Lamarr and Chris Moyles, which ended up with Lamarr publicly threatening to murder Chris Moyles. Fascinating.

Err no, I don't think so. We're not paedophiles.
Oo-ee-ooh, I look just like Buddy Holly.

NB: this is a joke. In fact, the whole site is a joke, and if you didn't realise that, then what's wrong with you?

Coming soon...

I intend to prove that Graham Coxon is actually Elvis Costello's lovechild!

This is Phillip Schofield, of the Broom Cupboard fame. He was good friends with Gordon the Gopher.. and later went on to star in the classy Talking Telephone Numbers. Oh yeah, and Laura had a crush on him when she was 8.

(Of course Phillip here isn't your typical geek, but we thought it was worth a laugh anyway.)

Hylnur in 101 Reykjavik, played by Hilmir Snær Gunnason. (This bloke is probably a sex symbol in Iceland!)
