Soon after Scream 2 hit theaters, Scream 3 planning had begun. Kevin Williamson, the writer of the first two, decided to back out of writing the third Scream movie due to many other projects he was working on at the time. After careful consideration Wes didn't want to wait around for Kevin so he hired a new writer, Ehren Kruger. When the script was complete, production of the movie began. This was in July of 1999. The movie was expected to be realeased December tenth of that year, but got pushed back to February 4, 2000.





PLOT
Sidney Prescott has now moved to Hollywood and is living in seclusion. she resides in a house in the middle of the woods with a new name of Laura. Once the murders begin happening, Dewey and gale start working on the case along with Jennifer Jolie (Parker Posey), and the other cast members of stab 3. As the murders continue, Sidney is drawn out of hiding and helps her friends crack the case.
