BEGINNER
QUILTING

It’s
time to learn to quilt! In this class you learn
the basic skills of quilt making, from A-Z, as you
construct a charming 9 square or rail fence wall
hanging. You will learn all the techniques
needed to complete a quilt: choosing fabrics, rotary
cutting, piecing, borders, quilting and binding. This
four-session workshop will introduce you to the
exciting world of quilt making. Be prepared for
an exciting journey as you discover the joys of
quilting! Sewing machine experience necessary.
Please purchase your sewing software before
class but a supply list will be given at registration.

STRIP
QUILTED LOG CABIN 3 Lessons $49I
Go
home with a bed size quilt when you take this
class! You will learn the easy strip piecing method
(no tedious little squares or triangles). Minimal
sewing experience required. Some sewing will be done
at home. Choose any TWIN, FULL, QUEEN, OR KING
size and cut your strips BEFORE CLASS. You will
be using the Log Cabin Quilt Design which gives many
choices of patterns. Let our us help you select
your fabric at least one week before class so
that you may cut your strips.

TRANSFER AND MEMORY QUILTS 2 Lessons

Just
in time for holiday gifts, bring your favorite photos
and Tim will show you how to quickly and easily
transfer them to fabric with his computer in order to
make great memory quilts, pillows and other gifts.

QUILT
1 Lesson $20I
Learn
how you and your computer can become friends in
designing a quilt. You will be shown how you can
scan your fabric or use one of the fabrics from a
library of over 3,000 fabrics, choose a pattern and
lay it out to your liking before you ever touch a
piece of fabric. This is a software program that
you can use on your computer (it's on the quilting
software CD-Rom special price for students).
Theses program helps you to figure your yardage, has
rotary cutting charts and templates too. This is
an introductory class. Come see how this
state-of-the-art program is used.

TRANSFER THE EASY WAY
1 Lesson $25I
Just
in time for holiday gifts, bring your favorite photos
to this two hour class, and Tim will show you how to
quickly and easily transfer them to fabric using a
computer and a scanner. If you do not have access to a
computer we can do it for you or we will show you how
you can do it yourself . Make it into a photo
album as a gift for the holidays or sew it into a
quilt after the holidays.
