Hi, my name is Whitney Sivill!  I love all things creative and recently discovered a passion for scrapbooking.  I find I have a knack for simple but beautiful layouts and love to learn new techniques and projects.  I have been a consultant since October 2005 and love every minute of it.  I find that with a few pointers from some old hands at scrapbooking, it takes the fear of getting started right out.  My scrapping motto is FOCUS.  Most new scrapbookers get overwhelmed by all the paper, accessories, stamps and projects that are available to them.  If you start out with one theme, say your last child's birthday party or your recent wedding, you narrow your options considerably.  Choose your most important pictures, and buy your paper, accessories and stamps accordingly.  You are more likely to finish those pages if you have a theme in mind and products focused on that theme, than if you were to buy the latest, cutest thing.
