| Who she is: Winia Chester is an orphaned girl who works and lives at one of the first inns Pacifica and her siblings come to on their journey (well, I suppose journey isn�t the right word ^^;;) Pacifica quickly becomes friends with Winia, which results in Winia being kidnapped by Chris (shown in the picture--one of my favorite episodes ^^) Her personality: With no family left, Winia is a quiet, lonely girl. Until Pacifica comes along, she doesn�t really have any friends and is living on the kindness of the innkeeper who took her in (who she considers an uncle of sorts). Though somewhat shy at first, she is brought out of her shell by Pacifica�s cheerfulness, and later through seeing Chris�s loneliness. Relationship to Pacifica: Good friend. (It seems neither of them really had a good friend before). My comments: Winia is one of my favorite characters on Scrapped Princess (um, heck, they�re ALL my favorite characters ^^;;) Out of all of the cast, though, Winia is the most �normal� and her concerns and problems are the most normal, so she�s probably easiest to relate to. She doesn�t have any special skills or powers and she�s not an heir to anything; she�s just an average girl working at an inn who gets sucked into the story through her friendship with Pacifica. Well, that and the whole meeting Chris thing . . . um, we�ll not talk about that because I�ll get fangirlish. I was a big Chris/Winia fan throughout my first watching of the series and still am ^_^ |
