| Pacifica and Fulle | ||||||||
| Unfortunate circumstances bar this adorable couple from the Happily Ever After section . . . Why it works: The dynamic between these two is much like that of Pacifica and Shannon--without all those nasty, not-quite-incest implications. After letting Pacifica follow him home, Fulle becomes quite attached to the so-called stray cat girl. He feeds her, clothes her, and generally takes care of her without expecting anything in return. In addition, he becomes protective of her during their short time together, and it�s obvious that she�s fond of him as well (remember when they were walking around, arm in arm?). Why it doesn't work: Well, I hate to make you all cry (like I did), but Fulle dies while helping Pacifica escape. This kind of throws a wrench into their relationship, as you might imagine. Other than that, I think Fulle and Shannon would have really locked horns if they had ever met (I mean, other than after Fulle had died) because of their similar protective personalities. Why I like it: The sweet tragicness? I had a feeling that Fulle would die just because of his place in the series (how I wish I hadn�t been right!). But this is still one of my favorite Pacifica pairings, because it�s just so sweet. I dare say that Pacifica and Fulle really loved each other, so much that he gave his life for her, and she�ll never forget him, judging by how much his death affected her. A Happy Ending? Unfortunately, no. This is a pairing destined to live on only in fanfiction. (Somebody write some good Pacifica x Fulle fanfiction, please! I�m sure all you clever authors will find some way to make it work, or at least sweeten what time they had together.) |
