| Who he is: Leopold Scorpse (aka Leo--I'm just giving the full name for effect) is a knight-in-training. He tries to save Pacifica, ends up screwing up, but falls for her anyway. His personality: Leo is a very silly boy ^_^ He's kind of naive and doesn't seem a great deal acquainted with the things going on in the world. Of course, this makes him all the more amiable and trusting. He firmly believes in justice, chivalry, and the other codes of a knight. Relationship to Pacifica: Leo has a big, BIG crush on Pacifica, and tells her so (quite often ^^;;). He even proposes to her at their first meeting (Pacifica doesn't accept) and is very jealous when anyone (well, any male) tries to get close to Pacifica. Of course, he doesn't find out until later that she's the Scrapped Princess. . . . (Though he's not as dopey as he looks in the picture! He's just a bit dazed there ^^;;) My comments: As you might guess, I really like Leo. He starts as just an amusing character, but his potential for growth is amazing, and the writers definitely milk it. Leo is just one of the characters who develops and changes a whole lot during the series, as he realizes just how unfair the world really is and how hard it is to hold on to ideals in such a place. But I won�t give any spoilers! (By the way, the headband he wears was from Pacifica when he injured his head on their first meeting. He rarely takes it off.) |
