| Here's a few more tips on creative lettering: ~ Use your regular handwritng and give it a "twist", such as dragging down lines in letters, giving them a curl, or making your hand shake. Or put a few dots and/or squiggles around your letters. ~ Use stickers or punchies for fast and easy embellishments. ~ Use your computer to print up a basic font of the entire alphabet, upper and lower case. Trace the letters onto acid free paper, then embellish. ~ One basic lettering style has so many possibilities! Using different colors, adding different patterns to fill in the letters, you can adapt it to any page. ~ Use a basic "chunky" style lettering, trace onto patterned paper, and cut out. ~ Draw up some of your own guidebooks. Draw the entire alphabet in different styles, one style per page, and you have an easy reference. You can also trace over them for faster lettering when you're ready to make a page! |
