In the Drain
The narrow path half full,
with the water from the rains,
that heaven shed for his love - earth.
Yellow leaves sunk to the below,
adorn like jewels on the bride-to-be.
Tiny ant-sailors sail along,
on little twig rafts that float.
White flowers from trees around,
skim over the water way like
Beautiful skaters on the ice.
Worms n larvae parade the ground,
with the gait of the soldiers of yore.
Shimmers of sun's light dance
upon the joyous waves circling
Around in the drain.
