Traveller
Upon a distant wind he cried
A scream long forgotten by the soul
For that which he mourned
Could not be so easily remedied
His strength is only so much
And upon that he must build
A wall to protect him
From the cold winds outside
That try to destroy him
Little by little, day by day
Along his way, he helps who he can
Each act giving him another day
So that he replaces a little
That he gives away
His peace is nowhere near
His rest is out of sight
But long before he dies
He'll finally see his light.
