For about 1 year I was part of the MIS department as a Systems Administrator.
Most of my duties here were to provide direct user support in the
most cost-effective way, in an environment with about 150 users.
I was also responsible for the backup system of the company's
40-plus file servers.
At the same time I performed such sys-admin duties as:
Troubleshooting Unix and Macintosh Hardware and Software problems.
Help resolve various network related issues such as DNS, NIS/NFS,
and Connectivity problems.
Setting up individual desktop systems, and user accounts maintenance.
Layout of the internal network wiring.
Troubleshooting and updating the company's remote access system
(Security).
Performed many Hardware and Software installations.
