Entrance to Lost Creek
Lost Creek, located in the head of Sand Lick in Morgan County was a community built into a valley. This is the area where my grandfather John Lester Cantrell grew up. Lost Creek is very difficult to find today and if you don't know the landmarks almost impossible, since the moving of hills and such with the coming of the Paint Creek Dam. Lost Creek was a peacable community, made up of honest hard-working farm families.
