In Venturers you get to do all the things that Scouts do plus lots more.
Some of the thing you do are:
Caving.
Climbing.
Rock Climbing.
Abseiling.
Sailing.
Fire Safety, Camp Craft, Knot Tying.
Canoeing
Bush Walking
Camping and lots more.
On of the special things that Venturers do is called
"Bush Baja."This is were all different Venturers from over the State to participate. The Venturer Unit has to have a car that they can do anything they want to do with it. You then sign up and get to participate. It is just like a normal Rally except it is runned by the Scout Association. It's Great Fun. |
