This year Australia had the chance to have a Jamboree. This was held in Sydney, at Cataract Scout Park.
To be able to get there was really hard. Because of the price the people that wanted to go had to do Sausage Sizzles, Can Collections etc, and this year 5 scouts and 2 leaders from 1st South Coogee went to the Jamboree. Despite all the hard work the experience that the scouts and leaders got from it was worth all the hard work.
Not only did they have a good time, they had a the best time they had ever had.
Some of the things that they did were:
Going around the Olympic centre,
Obstacle courses,
Badge swapping,
Going to Wonderland,
and lots, lots more......
In the night time and day time they always had something hapening a Cataract Scout Park. Two of the bands were Killing Heidi and Frenzal of Rohmp. |
