Venturer Scouts
For the ages of 14- 18 years young men and women can experience a range of diffrent activites such as camping on the snow line, exploring underwater reefs, even earning your pilots licence! Venturer Scouts once invested get presented with maroon epaulettes.
The first badge you go for as a Venturer scout is the Venturer Skills badge. This can be gained in your first 12 months as a Venturer Scout. You then can work on your Queen Scout Award.
Queen Scout Award
This can be worked on in Venturers before the venturer turns 18. Its the ulitmate Scouting achievement for the Venturer Scout.

There are 4 sections of the Queen Scout Award.

1. Community Involvment- This involves activties centered on citizenship service, first aid  and the environment.
2. Adventurous Activties- Where the Venturer Scout is challenged in initiative,expeditions and out door adventures.
3.Personal Growth-Oppitunity for the Venturer Scouts to find out about them self through expressions, ideals mental pursuits and their own lifestyle.
4.Leadership Developement- Preparing for adult responsibilities in a democratic society will come from being involved in the Unit Management and Leadership Courses. Vocations gives the oppitunity to look at employment prospects for the future.

Four Sections that make up the Queen Scout Award
In Each of the 4 sections of the Queen Scout Award there a quite a few other parts which make up the section. These badges are complusary to get if you are planning to get your Queen Scout Award. Each part of the Diamonds have diffrent aims to go for.

In Community Involvment the sections which must be earnt are and some information about them:
Service- Introducing Venturer Scouts to the needs of people in the community and ways in which some of these are met.
Environment- Encouraging Venturer Scouts to become more aware of the natural and man-made environment, and to consider the effects of enviromental changes on the quality of life.
First Aid- Actively partcipate in a recongised First Aid Course.
Citizenship- An active examination of some aspects of community affairs, enabling Venturer Scouts to see better their involvement in community life, each to be approximatley 2.5 hours of duration.

For Adventurous Activties the sections which must be earnt are with information about them:
Initiative- Venturer Scouts participate in an overnight Initiative Activity (which is set according to the Branch/Area Guidlines) which must include a journey on foot, over cross country in which the Venturer Scout is not familiar.
Expeditions- Encouraging the developement of a spirit of outdoor adventure and a sence of determination, through participation by a small group in a well-planned expedition, having previously completed appropiate training.
Out Doors- Encourage Venturer Scouts to develop existing intrests or to undertake new recreational activites. The activity may be a hobby or something entirely new and may be followed individually or with a group.
All three of these badges are compulsary however it is also compulsary to take either initiative, expeditions, or out door to the next level which is harder to achieve.
