Rovers is for men and women aged 17 to 26 years old. It is the last section of scouting. After Rovers The youth can then choose to become a leader. For more information about becomming a leader please go to the official scout australia website. www.scouts.com.au
In Rovers you can experience lots of fun, you can become a leader of a Joey Scout Mob, Cub Scout pack, Scout Pack or a Venturer unit even if you havent had experience in there areas before.

Rovers arent afraid to express themself and truley have fun. They learn new experiences and achieve things they never thought they could.

All you need to be a Rover is a sence of adventure, commitment, unselfishness, character and concern.
Baden-Powell Award
The  award scheme for Rovers is the Baden Powell award.

This awards encourages Rovers to:

Explore their own physical capabilities while understanding the necessity for proper training and preparation.

Achieve a sence of self reliance and develope a positive approach to a problem solving using initiative and imagination.

Develope an understanding of relationships on a personal,group and society level, and to contribute by accepting their responsibilities of participation and leadership.

Develope a personal philsophy and purpose in life by examining their beliefs and moral values, exprerssing these in such ways as service and an appreciation to God and Nature.
