I first came across JWA when I was researching the buying of a new tent. I looked at many factors, and good quality-at-a-resonable-price was a large factor. There were many more expensive tents on the market at the time, but there didn't seem to be any that were better constructed than those carrying the Eureka label. They have a Canadian repair depot on Harvester Road, Burlington, Ontario. I've found them to be courteous, and very accommodating in regards to repairs on some very old equipment. Since then, I've come to know some of the staff and field test some of their gear. I've haven't been disappointed yet. I first found Backpaker Magazine after trying many Canadian ones, looking for destinations and equipment. Since most equipment comes from overseas to both the United States and Canada, I found that American and Canadian equipment was the same. Since then, I shop around looking for the best buy for the money. I have found Backpacker to be great on equipment reviews. As a Canadian, I would like to see more Canadian destinations reviewed, and also those in Ontario.

Well, this site is great if you like the outdoors, and especially if you have to eat outside.
