Game - Pass the Messages - Cubs in a circle. Have a series of messages on folded paper. Start the messages in various places around the circle. First Cub studies the message, closes the paper, and passes the message (and the paper) on to the next Cub. Keep the messages going around the circle (and try to have messages catch each other!) while the leaders can break in anywhere and verify that the message is still the same as the one on the paper.

Quick Game - Find the Matching Message - A bunch of coded messages are taped face to the wall. Cubs are given a copy of one of the messages. Each Cub runs up and turns over one message. If it matches (show a leader), bring it back.

Plan a day’s worth of meals for a camp - make sure all the food groups are present in the right quantities.

Game - Food Groups Minefield - lay out a series of plates face down in front of each group. On the face of each plate is a food item. First person runs up and turns over a plate. If it is a bomb, go back. If it is a food, tell the leader which food group it is in. If correct, may then step on it and turn over the next plate. If wrong, go back. Once a path has been cleared each team member must travel the cleared path to the other side. First group through the minefield wins.

Game - Doctor Dodgeball (if there is time) - Two teams. Each team secretly chooses a doctor. The balls are germs. If a player gets hit he/she goes down and cannot move. The doctor can cure a player just by touch. If the doctor gets hit, the team is in trouble. Other players may pretend to be doctors, but only the touch of a doctor can cure player.
